Weekly Word: He WILL Restore + Books, Stitches and Gratitude! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello there!

How are you?  Thank you for stopping in especially after my unexpected blogging break the last two weeks of July!  After deciding to fix my other knee,

I've been packing in as much time with family, friends and grandbabies as I can.  Hence, there's been little time for online activities.  More about that in the Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer section below.

For now, let's move onto the post!

Weekly Word: Managing Curve Balls + Books, Stitches and Gratitude! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello there!

Thank you so much for stopping by!   I hope you all are doing well!  I missed visiting with all of you last week!  We had an unexpected and pleasant 6 days with our grandchildren - all four of them!  They range in age from 12 to 5 years old.  The way my daughter has raised them made it so much easier as each child has their own chores and "The Bigs" helped so much with "The Littles"!

I greatly enjoyed my time with them:  conversations with the oldest two, playing with the youngest, sewing and reading Nancy Drew with ...

Weekly Word: Quilting Devotional + Stitching and Gratitude This Week! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello there!

Thank you so much for stopping in today!  It's nice to be home after our week in San Diego.  I seem to be on a machine sewing streak as well as prepping new projects.  We have had a week of lovely rainstorms!  Poor Chico has been sleeping with us as he is terrified of thunder!  He's a great cuddle bug!

As my weekly posts are jampacked with lots of fun mini- articles, here's is an index should you have a special interest you'd like to read first!  Otherwise, settle in with your favorite ...

Weekly Word: Holding His Hand + Stitching and Gratitude This Week! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello there!

Thank you for stopping by for a visit!  We just got back from visiting my family in San Diego where the weather was perfect and the gardens gorgeous!

Happy Father's Day to all those dads out there!  I hope your day is wonderful filled with family, love, laughter and good food!

I have been responding to comments via email, but have gotten several back as "undeliverable".  Has that been happening to you as well?

With all my sewing projects getting prepped, I was running out of binding clips, yet loathe to purchase more.  You'll find an ...

Weekly Word: Unto To Thee + Stitching and Gratitude This Week! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello there!

Here in Las Cruces, out temps have been over 100 degrees!  We now make sure our errands are completed by 11:00 am!  I'm also adding an extra, 5 minute run of our sprinkler system at dusk.  Whew!

I have to say I'm still enjoying having a retired husband at home!  We're going on 8 weeks and still loving it!  True story:  when he would go to work after a week or so at home, I'd shed a few tears as he drove off.  Yes, after 42 years, I'd still miss him.

I ...

Weekly Word: Curve Balls + Stitching and Gratitude This Week! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello there!

Thank you so much for visiting!  I hope you enjoy this week's post filled with God's Word, books, fiber projects, a fiber stash report and a bit of likes and gratitude from this week!

Speaking of this week, let us pray for everyone affected by the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas.  I have to move on from this topic.  Emotions run deep.

My recently retired hubby and I are adjusting to our new non-schedules by enjoying slow mornings and relaxing evenings on the patio filled with good conversation, our favorite music and some slow stitching.  Thus ...

Weekly Word: A Transparent Testimony Plus My Reading, Stitching and Gratitude This Week! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello there!

It's good to be back!  I'm recovering from the partial knee replacement with a new attitude which I am sharing in The Weekly Word.  Full disclosure, this devotional is quite transparent and humbling to share online, but how can I not share how God has changed me?

This week's post is only a partial look into my hobbies, however, you will soon be caught up in the next few weeks.

The "Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer" link below offers more details about my physical recovery.

Your posts and comments have been a delight to read ...

 Hello There,

Thank you for stopping by for a visit!  Here's a little blog housekeeping snafu I just discovered.  Perhaps it will help you as well.  I usually just delete all my SPAM messages, but tonight I went through them and found tons of comment emails there!  I'm sorry to those of you whose comments got lost in that file!  I am working on posting them as well as answering your kind comments.  Please, bloggers, learn from my mistake.  Check your SPAM file before you  press "delete all SPAM."
